Straight Talk and AT&T Network Join Forces

Straight Talk has been a proven success for Wal-Mart, which is where the bulk of Straight Talk phones and plans are sold (although you can purchase them online at the official site: StraightTalk.com).

As such, according to the WSJ, the company is now opening the Straight Talk brand for use with AT&T’s network.  Previously, Straight Talk phones only worked on Verizon, which is the top network in the United States.

This is a big play and underscores the success of alternative prepaid phone plans in the market today.

The Samsung Finesse is by far the nicest phones you can get that works on the Straight Talk prepaid plans.  It’s a smart phone with a highly effective touch screen.  It has a two megapixel camera for snapping photos on the go in addition to many other features.
