Boost Mobile New Phone Sanyo Innuendo

Boost Mobile recently released the new phone, the Boost Mobile Sanyo Innuendo. This phone was rolled out after Boost released three Motorola phones and the Samsung Galaxy Prevail, so clearly Boost is pushing out a lot of new phones just in time for summer. Sanyo Innuendo has a standard candybar shape, but flips open revealing a 2.8 inch screen and a full keyboard. To round things out, you get a 3.2 megapixel camera.

This phone costs $129.99, so it’s not exactly cheap but it’s not exactly expensive. If you’re a big texter and you like the flip open aspect of the Sanyo Innuendo, then this might an option.

Boost Mobile also has some brand new Android phones that you can choose from to work with its prepaid services. I will be writing an updated version of my post covering all of the new Boost and Sprint prepaid android phones. Straight Talk comes out a little bit ahead of Sprint in this comparison, but Sprint does have some pretty nice cell phones.

MetroPCS recently added the LG Optimus M phone to its lineup of prepaid handsets. This is a good move for MetroPCS because the higher end Android phone is attractive to many customers who want prepaid service AND a good phone.

The LG Optimus M comes from the Optimus family of phones, which, in the limited time frame since their release, have sold over a millions phones. It’s clearly a popular style of phone and should make some potential MetroPCS subscribers or current subscribers who want to upgrade happy campers. The phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera and a 3.2-inch touch screen.

The Motorola Devour, an Android phone for Verizon is a very “solid” phone choice–literally. The Devour is built solid and tough.

It has a very responsive and brilliantly colored touchscreen equipped with Motoblur technology and a very nice pull-out (and it pulls out with a nice solid “thud”) physical keyboard.

Devour has an industrial look and a physical weightiness that is no doubt going to polarize opinions of this phone. Overall, the second Verizon Android phone is a good phone.

The Samsung Finesse is unfortunately no longer available with Straight Talk prepaid plans (or any other companies at the moment) because it’s an older phone. It was super popular but mostly with people who didn’t have the Finesse. It had a lot of promise but was a little bit ahead of its time and did not ever fully deliver on its promise. But….there are at least three maybe four NEW STRAIGHT TALK PHONES worth considering as you “smart” prepaid phone.

The new phones are the Nokia E5, Nokia E71, and of course the brand new Straight Talk Android phone the Samsung Precedent (at least it’s made by Samsung like the Finesse–and it has a lot more power than the Finesse ever did since it runs on the Android 2.2 platform). The phone runs on the Straight Talk Unlimited plan, which costs less than $50 per month and is a really good plan for people who talk, text, and browse the web a lot! Samsung Finesse is a pretty hot phone right now. It’s a smartphone with a twist. That twist is that it can be used on prepaid phone plans.

Both Straight Talk Wireless and MetroPCS have the Samsung Finesse in their phone lineups. The phone is a little on the expensive side–but hey, it’s a smartphone! A lot of prepaid users (and perhaps people who were skeptical of the phone selection for prepaid plans) have gravitated toward the Finesse.

It’s a very cool phone with a highly functional and brilliantly colored touchscreen. One place where you can buy the Samsung Finesse online is on eBay. You can sometimes find very good deals on prepaid cell phones at the site.

Why is it smart to buy a prepaid phone on eBay? Since you don’t have to sign a contract on prepaid plans with Straight Talk or MetroPCS (or any other prepaid providers for that matter), you can use any compatible handset and just add talk time to it.
