HTC One S for T-Mobile

T-Mobile will be releasing the HTC One S. This phone is certainly no slouch–say what you want about HTC’s barrage of phones that have few elements different from one another. This isn’t just another cookie cutter phone–it looks quite promising. The One S Has a dual core Snapdragon 4 processor, which definitely gives it some speed game. The HTC One X certainly is the top dog of HTC’s 2K12 releases, but the One S is not a bad phone by any stretch of the imagination.

We don’t usually deal with contract phones on this website, but every once in a while it’s useful to now about the deals that a provider has regardless what kind of phone plan they run on. This post is essentially a list of the current free T-Mobile phones on contract. You can get one of these phones for free if you sign up for a two year contract with T-Mobile. I know most people who read this site are avid prepaid users, but there are a couple nice phones in this list.

The Wall Street Journal basically confirmed what sources like TMONews were already reporting about the imminent release of T-Mobile’s Nokia 710 Lumia cell phone.

The Lumia has a 3.7 inch WVGA display, a 1.4 ghz processor, 8 gigs of internal storage, and a 5 megapixel camera that can capture video at 720p. This thing is goood.

T-Mobile HTC Amaze 4G Price Drop

T-Mobile has lowered the price of its HTC Amaze 4G phone down to $229 after a $50 mail in rebate. It’s a $30 price drop, which is significant because it brings the price a lot closer to the $200 mark than the $300 mark.

The HTC Amaze has impressed people with its stellar camera that shoots video in 1080p. It also boasts a 1.5GHZ processor and a gorgeous 4.3 inch screen. T-Mobile’s Amaze 4g definitely amazes. And it does more so now that it is available at a lower price.

T-Mobile currently has an offer running where you can get a free $50 refill when you purchase a T-Mobile Android phone. This deal is great but unfortunately it only works on four Android phones. But if one of these four phones is one that you want, then it’s perfect.

Eligible phones are the LG Optimus T, Samsung Dart, Sidekick 4G, and Samsung Galaxy S 4G. Shipping is free from T-Mobile on any of these phones. If you’re interested, move quickly. These deals tend to last about four days or so.

New T-Mobile WalMart Prepaid Plans

T-Mobile will be releasing a new unlimited prepaid plan that will be sold in Walmart locations around the country. It will cost $30 for unlimited Internet access and unlimited text messages–but you only get 100 minutes of talk time which is a really low allotment of minutes. But with an eye of how people are really using their phones (ie for texting and going online), T-Mobile and Walmart may be on to something here.

For $30, this is quite enticing, but how will it fare against the Straight Talk $30 plan already on Walmart’s shelves. I guess part of this new T-Mobile unlimited plan’s success will rely on where exactly Walmart puts it on its shelves. But seriously, people who are looking for unlimited text and Internet and not many minutes (100 is super low) may be intrigued by this new affordable Walmart T-Mobile prepaid phone plan. It’s almost funny to mention at this point, but remember the Common Cents Mobile from Walmart? Whatever happened to that prepaid plan?
