Motorola Cliq Now Free with T-Mobile Plan

For a limited time--only time will tell how long it will last--customers can get a Motorola Cliq phone 100% free with a two year contract from T-MobileSee more details.

motorola-cliq-titanium-tmobile_pdi

Motorola Cliq was one of the most talked about phones for a time and for good reason.  Touted as the first truly "social" phone even though the iPhone is quite social, the Cliq has a lot to offer the person who likes to "stay connected" at all times.

The phone runs the Motoblur Operating System which is a nerdy way of saying it has a very nice and slick user interface through which you can utilize a lot of the functionality of the phone, including access to email and social media like Twitter and Facebook in a live streaming, very up-to-date way.

You can basically run your social life from the "desktop" of your phone--it's pretty darn cool.

The phone has easy access to Android Marketplace for downloading apps.  Cliq has 3G and WiFi access, built-in GPS, Stereo Bluetooth, and a MicroSD slot capable of holding 32 GB of memory.

LetsTalk provides this phone for free with a two year T-Mobile contract.  You also get free shipping.  Check for availability of the Cliq at LetsTalk

Motorola Devour: Verizon’s New Android Phone Review

motorola-devour-verizon

Motorola Devour for Verizon: What We Know

The Android 1.6 phone will be the first Verizon Wireless handset that utilizes Motoblur user interface technology, which is a nerdy way of saying the phone will give you easy and seamless access to Twitter, and Facebook in a live-streaming capacity.

Status updates, messaging, and email are all integrated into the desktop for easy access.  Devour will be released in March, 2010--so it's not too far away.

Here's what the Motorola Devour's got for ya:

3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, 320x480 pixels (resolution is comparable to the iPhone)

Touch-sensitive navigation pad

8GB microSD card

Bluteooth

3 megapixel camera with digital zoom (supposedly)

The phone ships with Android 1.6, but there will very likely be an update to 2.1

A Verizon Voice and Data plan will be necessary along with purchase of the Devour.

At this point, pricing hasn't been talked about, but will most likely be in the $199.99 range, placing it against comparable devices.

In case you missed it, here is the Megan Fox Devour Superbowl ad.

T-Mobile G1 with Google – Phone on Sale for $14.99

t-mobile-g1-01

T-Mobile G1 was the first Android phone to be released in the market, and for a first run product, actually exceeded expectations.

T-Mobile G1 with Google (made by HTC) runs on Android.

This phone has a 3.2 inch touchscreen display, 3G connectivity, web browser (for surfing the web and watching youtube videos), and a bunch of other good stuff.

This first trial run with an Android phone proves that Google knew what it was doing with its user-friendly open-source Android software.  The G1 has some deficiencies, like its size and some awkward styling cues, but overall it's a game-changer.

High quality touchscreen and a high level of usability.  And you're not locked into Apple's rules.  This phone runs on an open platform with more freedom.  You can also download Apps from the Android Market.

If you're looking for an Android phone on T-Mobile, then this phone might be a good one to look at--especially at the price of $14.99 at BestCarrierDeals.com

*Update: This phone is now available for free (not $14.99) which works out to a savings of $479.99.
