In case that this is not working for you, some other solution for finding free ringtones for Straight Talk phones exists. This one in particular is using Audacity, a free easy-to-use audio editor and recorder for Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux and other operating systems. So for getting free ringtones from your legal MP3 files, you will need to download Audacity for Windows as well as the LAME MP3 encoder that you should download separately. The next thing to do is to open your MP3 with Audacity and edit it. To edit it means that you need to cut back on the piece that you will use as a ringtone (usually 25 seconds of maximum length) and the easiest way to do that is to select everything else that you do not need and delete it.
After you are done with editing, you will have to point Audacity to the LAME Encoder first. The LAME Encoder is an educational tool to be used for learning about MP3 encoding. After it, you should be able to export the edited file as an MP3 to a destination you choose. Turn your phone’s Bluetooth on and pair it with your computer’s Bluetooth management program. Transfer your new MP3 in your phone’s “Sounds” folder and set your ringtone. If there is no Bluetooth on your computer, buy a USB Bluetooth Dongle to enable it. And instead of using Bluethoot for transferring the file, you can simply send an SMS to your phone.
And the last proposition that you will find here on how to get free ringtones for Straight Talk phones is by using various software as for example My Ringading 1, The Ringtone Maker Plus 5.2.4., The Ringtone Maker 5.2.5. and many others that you will have to try for yourself to see how successful they are. You can freely download these programs and get a free trial before you buy a registration or license. Most of them are under $20 so it is up to you, because this option is not completely free.
