Net10 currently has a good deal going on. It’s for an LG 900G cell phone with the Net10 unlimited plan (unlim. text, talk, web, 411), and a $20 gift certificate. The LG 900G is a Net10 phone with a full qwerty keypad, quick web browsing, a 2 megapixel camera (which is good enough), picture messaging, and an mp3 player. It’s a solid basic prepaid phone that works well with Net10′s unlimited prepaid plan. While supplies last, you will get a $20 gift certificate in addition to the phone bundle when you buy it at Net10.com. You can also currently get the Net10 Samsung t401G phone with the unlimited plan bundle and the gift certificate. This is one of the more popular Net10 phones.
Net10 is for frugal phone users and as a result the company specializes in saving money. If you’re looking for basically a no frills service, historically you probably have been looking for Net10. Things are changing somewhat, but still that’s the reputation Net 10 has.

This is a really good basic web browsing phone. There are various specials on at the moment from Best Buy and on line, so that you can get the phone for about $30. You can run it on Net 10 for as little as $15 a month, or on Net 10 unlimited at $50 a month.
Fortunately for me, when I looked at the website, they are listed side by side so I could do a quick comparison. I do like the slider keyboard better, but really like the look of the 900. It just appears to be more professional looking. Also, has a longer battery talk time and is a lighter in weight. I think I’m willing to pay the extra $10 to get more of what I want.
This Net10 LG900G phone looks like an executive phone not a prepaid phone that you got at a bargain. Its a great value for money phone and the web browsing is not quite 3G speed but it’s acceptable to someone who doesn’t use this feature a heck of a lot. This is a great pre-smart phone phone where you save money and don’t spend $200-$400 on an actual smart phone.
For a web browsing phone I think the Net10 $15/200min plan is too small I think the $25/750 min plan is more suitable for this phone or the $50/unlimited plan.
The coast to coast reception and coverage on the Verizon and AT&T networks are really great, you don’t have to worry about dropped calls using Net10 plans.
@fit2thecore – Are you still trying to decide between those 2 phones? I had the same dilemma as you, but I ended up going with the 900 and I have really liked it so far. I even like the keyboard, it works great for easy texting
