The LG Octane is a mid level Verizon phone that you can currently get for free with a new or continuing contract. The Octane’s sticker price is $249.99 and Verizon was previously selling it for $99, so you can get significant savings if you buy it on LetsTalk.com. This price might last for a week or it could be longer.

If you’re looking for a new phone on the Verizon network and don’t want to drop too much coin on your new handset, then have a look at the LG Octane vn530.
I like this phone for a few reasons. The first is the look and design of this phone. It’s sort of bubbly looking but it’s sturdy and solid. The second reason is that the Octane has threaded text messaging, which means you can scroll up to see the conversation like with an IM application. It’s a little thing, but it’s kind of a big deal for people who message a lot–and I’ve started to message a lot, way more than I make calls.
The third reason I like this phone is because it does not require a data package, which is a huge plus for people who don’t necessarily want to spend a lot of money every month on cell phone bills.
