Looking for a new prepaid phone?  Looking for a new prepaid plan?  Well, look no further.  Well, actually you should keep looking–always try to find the best deal possible.

But you might want to start your prepaid phone search online at Straight Talk.  This wireless service provider has a lot to offer.  Both of its plans are really good and a lot of people are signing up for them everyday.

One of the current Straight Talk phones available is the LG 290C.  If you’re looking for a basic cell phone at a good price, this phone might just do the trick for you.

It’s about as basic as they come, but you can save some serious money with this phone and the plans you can choose from Straight Talk.

The first plan costs $30 and gives you 1,000 minutes and 1,000 text messages to use as you see fit throughout the month.  That’s a lot of time.  1,000 minutes!  I use about a quarter of that.

The second plan costs $45 and gives you unlimited text, voice, and web.  Unlimited web browsing is a very cool feature and if you want this you might want to look at the Samsung r355c, which is a higher end phone than the LG 290C.

Straight Talk Optimus Black: Android Smartphone

The Optimus Black is not exactly a replacement for the Optimus 2X, but it is a start.  It’s a midlevel Android phone that’s selling for $329 on Straight Talk’s website.  It’s a nice phone, but with the $45/month unlimited plan, you will be paying just under $400 for your Android prepaid phone.
