The Samsung Finesse got a solid review from the editors at the online tech powerhouse website cnet, receiving 3.5 stars.
The Finesse is probably the best phone you can get on the Straight Talk prepaid phone plans. The phone is a higher end phone than most that are available for use with prepaid plans.
Another phone worth looking at from Straight Talk is the Samsung r355C, which is nicknamed “QWERTY” since it has a full keypad that makes texting easy.
The Samsung Finesse has a virtual keypad on its colorful touchscreen. It also has a full html web browser which allows users of the phone to easily get to the websites they are searching for. Since the Straight Talk Unlimited plan provides unlimited web browsing, this feature is very useful.
In addition to unlimited texting, the Straight Talk Unlimited plan also includes unlimited talk time and unlimited web browsing, so for people who use their phones quite a bit, this may be a good option. And remember, since these plans are prepaid, it means that there are no contracts to sign.

The Finesse can also be used the other plan, which provides 1,000 minutes of talk time and 1,000 text messages, in addition to 30 mb of web browsing (which works out to about 350 web pages viewed). This plan costs $30 as opposed to the $45 for the unlimited one.

I’m loving the Samsung Finesse. I wanted to find the clear screen protector, but I think I will have to try another only store for smartphones. I wonder if the finesse is still available online at the Straight Talk site. I know the MetroPCS site no longer sells it.
