Samsung Finesse was the first real smart phone on the Straight Talk Wireless prepaid plans, but unfortunately that phone was retired a while back. While it was a fan favorite, there are some even better phones available now. The Nokia E5 is one such phone, but the most exciting and perhaps the top phone is Straight Talk’s first Android phone, the Samsung Galaxy Precedent. Read a review of the first Android Straight Talk phone.
With the Straight Talk Samsung Precedent, you can download apps and use the beautiful touch screen. Play Angry Birds or download music, ringtones, or other games you like. There are about 250,000 apps available in the Android Marketplace. This phone is quickly becoming a very good deal for a prepaid smartphone.

It can be hard to find a decent prepaid smartphone. But this is changing as we have recently seen that people who have never previously considered prepaid phones have changed their minds. As this happens, we will probably see more smartphones and other higher-end phones available with pay as you go plans.
One of the current winners is the Samsung Finesse for Straight Talk. In case you haven’t hear of it, Straight Talk is a brand of prepaid phone that has two plans that run with it. The unlimited plan gives you unlimited use of your phone for text, voice, and web (which is very cool if you have the Finesse and the full html browser that comes with it).
The second plan is for 1,000 minutes and 1,000 text messages. Both are good plans. It will always help you to compare and contrast all the available prepaid plans out there, but the ones from Straight Talk should definitely be considered.
The Samsung Finesse is the best phone that Straight Talk has, by far. It has a large color screen and a full web browser. You can get this phone with either one of the plans.

I wish I could afford that beautiful phone and I’m going to start saving but in the meantime I’ll stick with my Samsung T201G from Net10 which has served me so well and been so reliable! Net10 has been good for me too but just maybe…!
Awesome phone!
