The first Android Straight Talk phone is now available for sale online. The phone is available with the Unlimited plan that put Straight Talk on the map. It has a beautiful touch screen, a decent camera, a very cool looking design, and it harnesses all the power of the Android operating system. This means you can download apps, manage your email, use GPS navigation, and do all sorts of other cool things you haven’t always been able to do with a prepaid phone.

More on the Current Deals
Straight Talk has some of the best prepaid phone deals in the country. The two plans are very affordable and are helping people trim down their wireless bills.
Recently, Straight Talk has made a few additions to its plan offerings. You can now buy UNLIMITED prepaid service in 3 month periods, 6 month periods, and even for the entire year. I think paying for the entire year is going a little overboard and there is no point to do this.
But, paying for the 3 months of service seems to make sense since it is a relatively short amount of time, but long enough to make it worthwhile. For 90 days, you will have uninterrupted service and will not need to pay your bill since you would have already paid for it.
It makes things very convenient. There are no contracts and no other hidden fees, which is a nice thing. If you pay for your Straight Talk service in 3 month chunks, you won’t forget to pay your bill and you will literally only have to pay your cell phone bill four times a year. That sound kind of nice doesn’t it?

i wasn’t aware that straighttalk offered their unlimited services in monthly periods. I was told it was $45/month for unlimited service and i quote “great nation wide coverage” which i will agree with by the way. This just makes straighttalk a stronger service than what it already was. Thank god for straighttalk my wallet is not empty anymore wooo.
This is news to me also. Is buying the Straight Talk Unlimited in 3, 6 and 12 month periods still an option? I guess the benefit to this is that you don’t need to remember to refill you account for that period of time. If this isn’t available or you don’t want to pay that far in advance, you always have the auto refill account option. This still refills your account for you automatically, but on a monthly basis. In my opinion, so worth it.
This is new to me too. I’ve been paying month by month, and it’s been working fine for me, except for a couple months a year when I’m travelling a lot, and I don’t want to bother with buying a refill card. I did consider signing up for automatic refill but decided not to. This 3month cards will be perfect for me!
