Thanks for clarifying this. I’ve heard about these codes, but wasn’t sure if they existed as tracfone already have a sweet thing going with the double minutes for life. Thought it was just too good to be true. Anyway, guess not, BONUS! Thanks for sharing
My husband, Gordon, passed away earlier this month. I am having to cut down on all my expenses. I have had this Tracfone (Nokia) since 2007, I think. I only use it for emergencies. As of today I have 2189.6 units. I see no need in renewing the contract on Jan. 15, 2012. If you could please help me with an alternative so that I don’t lose the units I have paid for, I would appreciate it very much. I really love my Nokia, even though my kids laugh at it and call it old fashioned.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Carolyn – Let me look into this and get back to you. But one thing I’m curious about is the fact that you say you have a contract. There should be no contracts with TracFone since it’s a prepaid wireless company. Do you mean that you have to pay again for minutes in Jan 2012 in order to keep your current minutes?
Thanks.
