Wired Article Destroys Motorola Devour Verizon Phone

I used to think that it was kind of hard to find unbiased phone reviews online.  But I found one today.  In doing a little bit of web browsing to find some information on the Motorola Devour, a Google Android phone for Verizon, I found an article at Wired that pretty much tears the phone apart.

The author has few good things to say about the Devour, some of which are that the phone has a sturdy slide out screen, easy aggregation of social network feeds (it’s equipped with Motoblur), and is built with strong, beautiful materials.

She says the touchscreen is horrible, the camera is weak, and it’s heavy.

That being said, if you’re interested in this phone–and a lot of mostly younger people still are–you can buy Motorola Devour currently from LetsTalk for $49.99 with a new Verizon Wireless plan.

As you get older, it’s hard to remember how jaded we get and how much we expect out of out phones and other devices we use.  Sometimes, a good look and pretty good functionality is all we need.

Now you can’t ever accuse me of writing biased reviews…
