Picking the best prepaid company is sort of like picking out the best car. Everyone has their own opinions and it’s true that many wireless companies provide better service in different parts of the country.
While some may think Straight Talk is the best prepaid company, you may find quite a few who think Boost Mobile or MetroPCS has the best plans in the biz. It really depends on personal experience.
Everyone has had a terrible customer service experience and came out hating the company that provided the customer service. Opinions on companies can be shaped very quickly.
Some people I talk to say that Straight Talk is the best wireless providers they’ve been with, while others have complained about customer service from the company.
But then again, I’ve never found a wireless provider that is complaint free. One thing I know about the cellular services business is that everyone complains about customer service.
Straight Talk Wireless is available in Wal-Mart locations and online. Buying online is the best option because I have heard that Wal-Mart does not always have the phone models people want to buy. If you buy a Straight Talk phone online, you will most likely get the handset you want.

Honestly, I absolutely love Straight Talk. I’ve been through three other prepaid cell phone companies (AT&T, Boost, and T-Mobile) and Straight Talk is amazing. It is such a good value for your money because it’s only $45 per month for unlimited minutes, texts, and data. The best part about it I think is the coverage, since it runs on Verizon’s network.
Absolutely! I had an AT&T prepaid cell phone not too long ago and then switched to a contract phone. Contract phones got too pricey for me so once my contract was over, I switched back to prepaid and Straight Talk. It is $45 for unlimited talk and text. I also get unlimited data and dont have to worry about activation, overage, or cancellation fees. Since its prepaid…there’s no way you can go over on minutes. Its a great phone with wonderful service (on the Verizon network). I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to save a few bucks on your cell phone bill.
