Straight Talk Update: Straight Talk’s first Android phone is out now. If you go to the official webstore, you will also find several other smart phones for sale on the site: Nokia E5 (nice phone), Nokia E71 (fan favorite), and Nokia 6790 (a younger leaning phone). All are good phones, but it’s interesting that the Android phone, the Samsung Precedent, is the least expensive one out of the four phones.
The Samsung r451c was added to the Straight Talk wireless prepaid lineup a few months ago and has proven to be a good option for people looking for a solid (if very basic) cell phone to use with a prepaid phone plan.
Samsung r451c will get done what you need it to get done–all while helping you save money with your Straight Talk prepaid plan. Straight Talk has two plans.
The $45 plan gives you unlimited talk time, text messages, web browsing, and a strong network (Verizon!).
The $30 plan gives you 1,000 minutes of talk time, 1,000 text messages, and 30 mb of web browsing. Let’s be honest, this plan gives you quite a bit, so unless you are a heavy talker, you will probably not need to spring for the unlimited plan.
But if you find that you need more talk time and want to browse more than 350 pages on the Internet (which is approximately what 30 mb of data will give you), then pay the extra $15 for the unlimited plan, which is still one of the best deals in the wireless market.
$45 for unlimited phone use is an absolute steal. $30 is an amazing deal as well for what you get. You almost can’t go wrong.

i got the r810c recently got the finesse ( Samsung r810c) on the unlimited plan, converted from my iPhone. I’m really enjoying the finesse and the Verizon network provides me with way better coverage
