One of the complaints (or at least oddities or things speculated about) during and after Steve Jobs’ recent unveiling of the Apple iPad is that a broken plug-in icon appeared on pages displaying flash.
When Mr. Jobs visited the New York Times website, it was clear to the audience that the page areas that utilize flash were not displaying.
Now, the controversy (what would anything having to do with Apple and Steve Jobs be without the slightest whiff of controversy) is that the iPad promotional images and the video display properly working flash.
So does the iPad support flash? Are the promotional images and video hiding the fact that the new Apple device doesn’t support flash? The answers to these questions are most likely yes and no.
