UPDATE: The Samsung Solstice is now being offered for free and now with a $200 bonus from LetsTalk.com and AT&T.

Samsung Solstice sort of a sequel to the Samsung Eternity. It has a touchscreen–a nice one–but is not a smartphone. It is also easier to maintain and will cost you less over time than certain other smartphones for AT&T.
It has touchwiz navigation on the left of the screen, which allows you to do whatever you need to do on the phone from the touchscreen.
Samsung Solstice is much smaller than the iPhone and boasts a slim, sleek design. It is an unabashed feature phone and can do all the things you would expect out of this kind of phone. Sound quality has been reported to be very good.
While Solstice is a nice looking phone that does everything you would expect out of a feature-rich, widget-friendly touchscreen phone, one criticism I have come across a few times is that it is not the best phone to watch videos on.

Another criticism I have read is that the battery life is not that great. But you have to consider other 3g devices with rich features in order to do a proper comparison, and most 3g phones have less than great battery sustainability.
The full touchscreen keyboard (with haptic response) is actually very responsive and easy to use. It’s never fun to type on a screen that doesn’t respond well. This phone has a surprisingly effective virtual keypad for such a small phone.
All in all, Samsung Solstice is a good foray into touchscreen phones for someone who has never had one before. It’s also very cool that you can get this phone for free with a new plan from AT&T.
Through LetsTalk, you can get this phone, which retails at $299, for free. It looks like this deal ends on Monday, January 25, but it may last longer.
If you are interested in a wireless plan from AT&T and want a fun touchscreen feature phone, have a look at this deal.

Just acquired a Mythic for myself and will likely be receiving one for my wife soon! It has just the suitable mix of characteristics. just short of a complete smartphone. I’m preserving an eye around the Captivate for any prospective future phone..
.rates are way as well great when released. I’ve been in large tech for 20+ many years and essentially hack everything I personal to create it far better laptops, GPS, auto navigation systems, etc. and yes cell phones as well. In the handful of days I’ve owned the cell phone I’ve by now set up Opera Mini, Bolt 2.1, freecaddie, Google Maps w/GPS functionality, deleted all locked ineffective apps after backing them up and totally modified the menu technique to my exact wants devoid of all unproductive apps.
Thanks for the item, so I got my Samsung in February. It beautiful freakin awesome. Its not without its flaws however its pretty spectacular. I know that now if I have questions as an alternative of spending days on finish trying to determine what the heck is going on I will be able to just come here. Yay!!
I was aware of this already, but now I’m thinking I’m not sure I want another contract phone plan. I might want to go with a prepaid plan as I’ve read a lot about them lately. Still I like this phone a lot.
