The only time I’ve considered a contract phone is when I’m really attracted to a certain phone. Recently, I’ve been all about the prepaid cell phones. I like the fact that you don’t need a contract and I really love the fact that this means there is no commitment and no termination fee–ever! I like the freedom of no-contract plans from Straight Talk, TracFone, and MetroPCS.
I’m a huge fan of the Straight Talk touch screen phone as well as the TracFone touch screen phone (in addition, the Net10 touch screen phone is the same as the TracFone one). Read a review comparing the Straight Talk and TracFone touchscreen phones to one another. The main difference is in the cellular data plans. Straight Talk has the unlimited whereas TracFone is pay by the minute. TracFone has the triple minutes for life thing going on right now, which you should check out if you’re considering one of these phones. Straight Talk’s Android phone is coming soon too, so if you’re in the market for a good phone like this, you can wait a couple more weeks and get the Samsung Galaxy Precedent. I really like all of these prepaid smart phones that are coming out. It makes it fun to be a prepaid customer.
Have a look at the beautiful Palm Pixi Plus for Verizon. This phone is available January 25th on Verizon.
It’s a thin, light weight phone, with a high resolution screen with WebOS. It’s a nice upgraded device that Palm brings to the table with the Pixi Plus–and with a new carrier.
