If you are looking to save money on your cell phone bills, you may have already considered a prepaid cell phone plan.

Straight Talk plan break down into two options.

The first option is for unlimited prepaid use. This means that subscribers to the plan receive unlimited use of their phone for talk, voice, and web browsing. For all this, the customer pays $45. That's a pretty good deal. To sweeten the pot, Straight Talk is an MVNO with Verizon Wireless. This means that this affordable unlimited prepaid plan runs on Verizon's vaunted network. The second offering is the 1,000 minute, 1,000 text plan. This is considerable cheaper at $30 and truly works out as one of the most affordable and generous plans in the prepaid space. This Straight Talk plan also comes standard with 30 MB of data usage for web browsing and also runs on the Verizon wireless network.

Of course, you need to either already own or have to purchase a phone that runs with this plan, but there are several very good options for cheap handsets. If you don't need a high tech smartphone and want to save money on your cell phone bill, then Straight Talk may be worth looking into.

Great post!

Just to be clear, Straight Talk require Straight Talk handsets, so if you want to use the service, you need to purchase a Straight Talk phone.

The good news, though, is that several very nice, new phones have been introduced as part of the ongoing effort to maintain Straight Talk as the best deal going!

For example, the Samsung R451C has a very nice, large display and a qwerty keyboard.

The LG290C is a grat slider phone, with Blutooth, a camera and more.

I also have Straight Talk, which is just an amazing deal.

I was skeptical at first but everything I’d heard about it is true.

No more crappy coverage from AT+T. The Verizon network is solid and I haven’t dropped a call yet.

I think $45 a month is fantastic and I got a very nice Samsung phone with a qwerty keyboard so texting and web surfing is easy too.

I’m saving hundreds of dollars a year now so it’s pretty awesome.

I’m not the only one who thinks so, either.

Wonderful post! Straight Talk is the best prepaid cell phone deal around. It’s on the Verizon network so that means awesome coverage. Plus Walmart now sells it exclusively nationwide, so you get it for a great price. You save over $500 a year just from switching to this prepaid plan from your monthly contract. How great is that?! Straight Talk wireless is the way to go!

Yeah, Straight Talk has some great plans. I’ve heard a lot of good things about them and the fact they run on Verizon’s network is a definite plus.
